Description
FAZAR 32+ (SL) is a single-line ultrasonic phased array flaw detector intended to detect, register and decipher signals in rails, including in areas where simultaneous testing of two threads is difficult or unsafe: rails on bridges and in tunnels, rails under heavy train traffic, rails near platforms, and turnouts. The phased array method (PAUT) and the ultrasonic low-frequency echo method are used to scan all standard railway track types.
The FAZAR 32+ (SL) software allows configuring semi-automatic testing and includes auto-size and auto-protocol functions that generate a PDF test protocol and instantly send it to the control center via GSM communication. Test results are continuously documented as defectograms of inspected areas, linked to track coordinates and GPS. Information is presented in B-scan format, including amplitude-time characteristics of all recorded echo signals.
