Description
The stand of laser scanning and flaw detection ROBOSCOPE VTM-5000 AEROSPACE is designed for non-destructive testing of composite materials, honeycomb structures and heat-shielding coatings, used in the space industry. Full control of components used in rocket science includes a set of methods to enable detection of defects in the layers of composite skins and in adhesive joints of power elements with heat shield.
Application of two synchronously moving robots in echo-shadow mode allows to inspect multi-layer structures up to 130 mm thick and reveal structural anomalies when bonding composite materials and heat-shielding coatings.
